https://www.edong.com， https://www.xinnet.com/ 都不行。

有没有其它好的，又可以安全注册域名？

Requirements:
expert in using prototype/jquery/ajax/css/web x.y(not div+css cause there's no such thing)

You should also know the basic of ruby on rails. But if you know ror very well, that's a big plus.

You should be
* passionate about usability/web standard
* self-managed
* produce solid, maintainable codes
* good communicator(in English reading and writing)
* highly motivated
* team player - work smart, not just hard. I don't need a contractor that can only work alone)

You don't need a Mac.

Not only will they be using it for their corporate development but they will be providing it as a core piece of their platform for developers to build with.

Most software design is lousy. Most software is so bad, in fact, that if it were a bridge, no one in his or her right mind would walk across it. If it were a house, we would be afraid to enter. The only reason we (software engineers) get away with this scam is the general public cannot see inside of software systems. If software design were as visible as a bridge or house, we would be hiding our heads in shame.

We would not accept a new house with sloping floors, holes in the ceilings, nails sticking out of the walls, and an outrageous price -- even if it minimally met basic needs. We would not be content with the explanation: "Well, it has a front door, which usually opens. You can find your way to the kitchen, but watch out for the nails. The holes in the ceiling don't really leak. And sure it ran 300% over budget, but houses often do." Rather than crooked floors, the software manifestations of poor design are redundancy, unnecessary performance bottlenecks, intertwined bugs that cannot be fixed, impenetrable code, and other ills. Unfortunately, we often accept software in just such a state. Regularly, companies release code like this to external and internal customers. And customers accept delivery. Businesses pay billions of dollars per year for this kind of software during mergers and acquisitions.

Pioneering Ruby on Rails-hosting company Engine Yard has taken $3.5 million Series A in a round led by the prominent VC firm Benchmark Capital. Benchmark is responsible for early stage funding of some very successful startups such as eBay, Linden Labs, Yelp and Zillow.

"The best aspect of this news story for the Ruby community, is that much of the new money will be used to propel the continued progress of Rubinius and Merb, along with new and exciting Ruby-flavored open source projects."

Engine Yard's hosting plan is damn pricey though.

All of these calls will have a GData counterpart and they will use HTML and Javascript only. Google is considering adding OAuth (Radar post) to the API.

You need to have Capistrano 2 which is a easy upgrade from Capistrano 1.

put
set :stages, %w(staging production)

at the bottom of config/deploy.rb

put production.rb and staging.rb in config/deploy

here's a sample staging.rb where you set up things specific to your staging env:

role :db, "localhost"

set :deploy_to, "/staging/#{application}"
set :repository, "svn://blah/repos/#{application}/trunk"

then do "cap deploy" to deploy a staging build
